"Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way. I can't wait to look in the mirror, cause I get better loking each day. To know me is to love me, I must be a hell of a man. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, but I'm doing the best that I can." Mac Davis
Try 'Heavy Rain'. It is a great game. It doesn't stop at the "socially acceptable" norms where most games stop. It also is based on your decisions that you make, and you constantly view your character's thoughts (which affect further thought, and action choices). It also involves you more. Instead of choosing for your character to go up a hill and watching him do it, you have to press buttons in a 'quick time event' AND press them on time in order for him to make it up there. He will fall if you fail. You also play multiple characters. If a character dies there is no 'game over' or 'continue'. The character death becomes part of the overall story and is recgonized, acknoweledged, and reacted to by the other characters. It is more like playing an 'R' rated movie. There is nudity, profanity, and many adult themes/choices that aren't usually explored in video games simply because many games are meant to be for kids. I haven't finished it yet because I only play it after my daughter is asleep or out of the house. Great game though.
...one can be sure of nothing until it has already happened...
I've heard that heavy rain is boring. Saw the demo ... well nothing special imo. I saw also the demo of God of War III , looks good But pretty drastic IMO . Batman Arkham Asylum seems to be good too.
