Love triangle?

Hi everyone,

I recently met a girl that I really like. We kind of flirt a lot, and I think she likes me, too. However, she currently has a boyfriend. She has been pretty clear that she has no feelings for him anymore, and will not be with him for very much longer (he is living with her and has nowhere else to go, and this is prolonging the breakup).

I would like to flirt with her more, but I have a problem doing it when I know she has a boyfriend. I really feel bad for him. On the other hand, if I don't let her know I'm interested, I'm afraid she'll think I'm not, and I'll miss the opportunity to be with her. This is further complicated by the fact that all three of us work in the same building.

I don't know if I should just wait and be reserved until she breaks up with her boyfriend, or flirt with her more intimately, or just come out and tell her how I feel.

GM, I would be very cautious about this, and try to keep it light, until he is out of the picture.

I pick the third option. Be straight up. Tell her you would ask her out if she didn't have a boyfriend but that she's got too much baggage right now. Maybe this will expedite his departure from her house.

I agree tell her straight up; you like her and the only thing preventing you from persuing her is her current relationship status. If she doesn't let him go it isn't because he doesn't have anywhere to go it's because she doesn't want to. Which also means you're not worth it for her.
