It's IBD or IBS....there's a lot of variations and subdivisions, but basically Imflamatory Bowel Disease or Syndrome. Either way it sux, but I took it pretty well, I would say...so feel free to make jokes about it..I always do, heh, heh.

Nomas! Ive got the same thing, have had it for 7 years now. Yea its a total pain in the ass. Already had stangled bowels, that surgery was worse than giving birth. Recently its been acting up big time. My doctor told me way back when if I had trouble down the road, they'd have to remove part of my intestines, and if that didnt work, a damn shit bag. At my age, thats not what I want to hear. It sucks having IBS, when it was at its worse, anything I ate, within 5 minutes it was gone. Hmmm-why the hell didnt I lose any weight back then?

Anyway, keep strong, I dont think its a big deal if you try to keep it under control. Keep your stress low too. Soon enough I'll be able to get my health conditions in check. But get a second opinion if you feel you have to Freddie. But really, IBS isnt that big of a deal if you know how to control it, by knowing what you can and cant eat. Goodluck to you!
everything happens for a reason...beginning to wonder why.

Ha ha..pain in the ass...that's a good one!! Haha.

Yeah, I really took it very well because the way I look at it..it's not cancer or anything that's more than a nuisance. We all have tragedies in our lives, and when I pray I always say "Hey, Big Guy...if I'm truly your servant and a servant of my bro's and sis', then I'll pray for their well being and you can go ahead and do shit to me and keep them safe". Beat that, Jesus! heh, heh..but I take it like, well, you got what you asked for, and it's really not that bad. I'll take it over my Moms getting cancer or something like that ANYDAY..

But the second opinion was mainly to maybe learn more, because the doc that kinda diagnosed me said there was no real special diet or anything and that I should go online and learn more..which I did...sorta..but so far I'm just living with it. So long as there are restroom facilities nearby I don't mind it too much, ha ha.

I'll check out your info, Poet.

Hope it helps. Even if it's just a little.

Actually, that's exactly the website I'd gone to on the Doc's recommendation. It was funny, I was very cool with it and thought of it as no more than an inconvenience until I started reading this stuff about "you can lead a normal life" and "you shouldn't get down" and "your friends should be supportive"...then I was like...hmm..maybe I should worry a little bit more. Ha ha..in trying to cheer me up they actually brought me down a little..oddly enough..but that was over with quick with the help of some good friends that didn't hesitate to make fun of my fate, ha ha. It's what we do.
