Could use a female opinion

hey all
I've been workin on my bedroom, making it really nice for when I have the gf around. I'm tidying it up really well, I've got a draw of snacks, got a lava lamp and I'm gettin some art work. I'm just making it a nice place to chill in.
Is there anything from a female perspective that I could get or do to my room that would be good? (it can be good for any reason, I'm open to all kinds of suggestions).

ohhhhh i am female.....and boy do i have an opinion!!

how old are you? cos this reply is presuming ur an adult...

ok everyone has different tastes but heres my input:

What not to do:

1. do not have condoms in a glass bowl by the side of the bed
2. do not have 'the joy of sex' anywhere visible
3. dont make the room smell to girlie - we like nice smells, but the smell of 'man' is a much better turn on [i dont mean don't wash though!]

what to do:

1. soft cushions
2. candles or soft lighting
3. make sure the door can be shut properly - but dont just automatically do it when she arrives
4. have the tv facing the foot of the bed
5. put the tv/music system remote on 'her side' of the bed
6. make sure the place is warm - but not sweltering
7. keep the massage oil warm
8. make sure the curtains close properly
9. make sure all the doors to any wardrobes and/or drawers are shut
and finally....
10. chill out - she wont up and leave just cos you didnt get the right sweeties

Thats very sweet and thoughtful of you. I would make sure you have plenty of blankets, my bf is a hot box and I am always chilly and love lots of blankets when I sleep or just watching a movie on the couch. Those microplush blankets are amazing. Clean and good smelling sheets are a plus too. Maybe pick up a feather bed or pillow top. A few scented candles here and there are nice, not overload cheesy but actually burn them and make the house smell good. And don't forget the bathroom either, make sure there are enough clean towels for her to feel comfortable taking a shower there.

Eh, I always find males in their natural state to be the most interesting. Don't be so focused on setting up a love trap that you are decorating for a woman. Haven't you seen movies where they make fun of men that do that?

BTW - be careful with the candles. Yes, they are nice, but most of those scents are geared towards women's taste, and I would find it odd to smell most of them in a male environment. Stick with natural, outdoor-sy scents, and go minimalist with them.

Depending on how old you are, I think I would be most impressed if the place were simply clean and didn't smell.

thanks for all the helpful advice, I really appreciate it and I should be able to do quite alot of the stuff you've all said. (I'm 17 for those that were wondering )

I'm really excited about sorting it all out now lol, should be good.
