change of girls from teens to adult

im 16, and riht now girls seem to be quite horrible people. they only care about popularity and how much money guys have. that's who they date...coz right now to them. its just about having fun.

but am i right in thinking, as they grow up, they become more appreciative of the sweet guys who care for them...or do they just get worse? :S and go towards the guys with money more?

A lot will depend on you and your ability to judge a person's character in the future. As girl68 said, some of them will get better and some of them will get worse, it will be up to you to find out which one's are which, which ones to avoid and which ones to pursue. This may not seem fair, but that's life, no one promised it would be easy.

When I was 16, all I cared about was whether or not the guy had a car and if he was a good skiier. Yes, many 16-year-olds are horrible, but all you need is ONE who isn't. Don't give up on trying to find her.

Try to remember that they're just trying to figure things out. Just as you are right now.

And yes, I would say that some girls grow up and some don't. Go for the girls who get good grades and care about their education. Those are the girls who end up a little more mature than the rest. Dating gets much better in college. High school dating sucks.

Its a two way street, kiddo. I'm sure there are girls your age who assume that all guys her age only want the skinny blonde cheerleader with big boobs and wears a size 1.

Don't assume anything.

Treat people how you'd want to be treated and don't walk around with a chip on your shoulder or walk around bitching about hating women and how we're all after guys money. Girls will pick up on it and you will only repel them. Be who you are and the best person you can be. Have fun while you're young.

thanks for your advise. but i didnt quite understand last bit....the thing is, the ones with the best grades are the biggest dicks in my school....but are you saying that those lot are the ones that are dicks right now, but will mature.

Son, you're going to get screwd by so many girls in your life that you're going to have to realize it a LOT sooner than a year. You need drop girls like this sooner, get over them faster, and be on the the next one sooner.

Mean girls act this way because they're intensely insecure. But I do believe that the intelligent ones will wise up faster.

Why not try getting to know the shyer, nerdier girls as well? Sometimes these types of girls are awkward as all hell when they're teens, but then turn out to be stunners in college.

I agree^ Guys fixated on only one type of girl (I.e. the prettiest outgoing type) are equivalent to girls who are fixated on prettiest outgoing assholes. Nerdy, non outgoing shy girls are completely under explored. Shy guys, take notice.

haha. thats funny. i see it the exact same way. I'm 16 now too, and I look at girls my age and they all want to date guys with 'hot' bodies and he has to have a bit of money so he can take her out all the bloody time and yknow.

I feel that this is COMPLETELY stupid. You've got to appreciate each person individually. Everyone is different, so you might as well love them for it. <3
I myself am a nerdy shy girl, though some nerdy shy girls arent what they look. I have a nerdy friend who goes all out. She's crazy man, at the school disco she grabbed random boys butts. xD <- I'm not saying that all girls are crazy. I'm just saying you have to appreciate girls INDIVIDUALLY.

And i agree with starbuck and Mishanya, shy girls can be awkward, but why not try getting to know them?

and uhm, nerdy, non-outgoing shy girls are like half tomboy like, you do realize? I'm one so i know I personally love watching a bunch of anime and asian drama's and love playing a whole range of games. we're fun to hang out with once you know us

stuff changes a lot in 3-4 years when ppl start going to college and half your 'popular' high school crew have dropped out and are working dead end jobs. This is where 'ambition' begins to kick in..
