How much contact is right?

Okay a simple one here.

I am in a distance Relationship that is in the main conducted via email but we have met.

My question is how much contact is too much and how much is too little? My G/F and I write to each other every day and have done for almost a year. At the start we had more contact but now its less but still at least two emails a day. I'm not sure if I should worry about the slow down or take it as normal?

the danger with any relationship is if you spill too much info there's nothing left to figure out. Imagine this relationship of yours as a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle for both of you, and the puzzle is the other person. Is she almost 100% finished with the puzzle? If she is and you aren't in physical proximity to yield the benefits that come with that then the slowing down could in fact be a sign of apathy or decreased interest.

Even with girls I'm actively pursuing I don't talk to them more than once every couple of days or once a week because I'm busy doing other things.
