    Gadgets, Gizmo's a Plenty

What gadgets and gizmo's are you getting into or want to get into?

I saw this and I am interested.

MIRUS Schoolmate Convertible Intel Atom 8.9" TouchScreen Notebook
I saw it on QVC go to the site and search Item #E204777.
If you don't feel like doing all of that... this is the info listed about it.

From the classroom to the dorm room, for the school year and beyond--the Schoolmate convertible notebook is made to keep up with a student's busy lifestyle.

The lightweight, portable design features a 8.9" diagonal bidirectional touchscreen LCD display that swivels for a perfect view, and folds for convenient transport. Use the keyboard for traditional typing capabilities; or, use the Schoolmate as a tablet PC, navigating through applications using only your finger or the included stylus pen. An integrated Web cam and microphone makes it easy to collaborate with classmates near and far. From MIRUS.

QVC neither condones nor encourages the use of this, or any similar technology, to acquire unauthorized recordings of copyrighted works; inclusive of, but not limited to, the download of prerecorded media via the Internet.

Wireless capability and use of public wireless locations or hot spots may require a network connection, additional accessories, and a service connection fee.

Access to and use of the Internet may require payment of a separate fee to an Internet Service Provider, DSL line, or more. The download speeds experienced with the modem may be slower due to varying line conditions.

    • Includes Schoolmate convertible notebook, six-cell battery, AC adapter, stylus, and manual

Okay I have never invested in a bike, Though it wouldn't seem like such a bad idea! How much does that thing cost!

That one - about $1675. Although I would probably get a touring bike like this one if I could afford it:

At the moment I'm not planning on racing anyway, I prefer long-distance rides. The Trek is $1319.

I bought my bike when I was 15 for $300 I saved up working at McDonald's. I've been riding it hard and waiting for it to break for the last 5 years so I can buy myself a new one, but the thing is built like a tank, it's nowhere near broken. I think it's slowly growing in sentimental value.

They don't build them like that anymore.

This is the bike I ride now.

My dad bought it for my mom when they were in college. So it's about 26, 27 years old. He fixed it up for me when I started riding more. I love it and it fits me perfectly. The only reasons I would replace it are because it's steel and very heavy, and only has 10 speeds (new bikes have 24-30). It's in perfect condition.

lol, love the schwinn lovesjoyajm. reminds me a little of an old bike my cousin had that was great for popping up on the back wheel forever....until you get hit by a Kawasaki like I did..

my gadget wish-list doesn't have anything to do with computers and junk, I'm already happy with my current set-up. nooooo, THIS is what I want to spend my money on....sometime in the not too distant future I hope.

    have dreamed about for years...

I tried out, and liked the MKI, so the MKII is now what I want to partner the N4 guitar

of course, a big Marshall stack, or Fender Twin Reverb would be great, but as a bedroom player, this set-up is perfect imo.
