This is what my gf said. Am I not supposed to be bothered?

Alrite so this is how i've always been. Whenever i'd get a few pimples, i'd go to the dermetologist. Or when I start seeing hairfall on my head, i look for a new shampoo, etc . Im just a little paranoid like that
ALL my past girlfriends thought it was ADORABLE
I dont know if it actually is lol but thats just how I am. I liketo look after my skin, hair, body , etc. I DONT SEE what the problem is
so yday i wanted to get a new cream because i started to breakout a bit. My gf goes, you're so GAY, why are you like a little baby? Its ridiculous, seriously youre like a kid.
WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?? Obviously i got mad, but i didnt say anything.
Am i NOT supposed to be like that? Or is she NOT supposed to say that to me?

hmm... you are more over concern with your skin despite you are a male..

Sometimes, your friends may find it weird but try to ignore them.

    You are unique .

A few pimples do not usually cause someone to run to the dermatologist. Severe acne does. If you don't have severe acne, you are over the top, IMO.

I used to have HORRRRIBLE skin. For 4 years i had breakouts after breakouts. And ever since its cleared up (last year), i've always been taking care of it.
I dont see how its gay though

She's probably annoyed becasue you whine and talk about it all the time.

If you want a new cream go get it why do you have to tell her? If you want a new shampoo just buy it, why's she got to know?

the better term she was looking for would probably be metrosexual..

Well its understandable you would want to take care of your skin after that, however if u freak out over a pimple or wtv, well thats got to be annoying after a while. And you do know hair falls out naturally right?.. i mean unless its falling out in chunks or you got some intense male pattern baldness..

Hmm bit harsh off her! how old is she?! I guess some women just aren't used to men taking care of themselves and she's just got some conceptions how real men should be? Just explain to her its not u being 'gay' just you taking pride in your appearance?

if you were complaining about pimples and acting impatient about getting the cream, then I could understand where your gf was coming from. However, if you casually mentioned you need to pick up some cream for your face, then I would have been like "What the f*ck? Why do you insult me for taking care of my skin?"
