White and black do not refer to geographical locations. A white man can be from Canada or he can be from Ireland.
Likewise, a man with dark hair and almond-shaped eyes could be from many different parts of the world. I'm saying we need a general term for that appearance. People use Asian in the same sense as they use white. Some folks don't like that because of the geography. Most times, though, geography has nothing to do with it.
It's like, what if instead of white the only term we had was European. Well, I think South Africans and Canadians would be a little annoyed at that.
