White and black do not refer to geographical locations. A white man can be from Canada or he can be from Ireland.

Likewise, a man with dark hair and almond-shaped eyes could be from many different parts of the world. I'm saying we need a general term for that appearance. People use Asian in the same sense as they use white. Some folks don't like that because of the geography. Most times, though, geography has nothing to do with it.

It's like, what if instead of white the only term we had was European. Well, I think South Africans and Canadians would be a little annoyed at that.

I personally think white men and asian women make disastrous couples. Notice you seldom see an old white man and an old asian woman married....because they never make it that far.
White men have the false idea that asian women are obedient and pure. That may be the case while you're dating, but once you are married or in a long term relationship, the roles flip
and the asian woman is usually very dominant. These couples break up because they just can't accept each other by then. I have yet to see a successful white man/asian woman couple.

Conversely, Asian men and white women are very compatible. Asian men are usually very career-minded and commitment-oriented, while white women are outgoing and sophisticated.
These traits are not present in the opposite gender of their respective cultures, therefore, the attraction is quite strong when these groups meet at an intimate level.
You may not see this combination to be common, but it is growing. My woman and I point them out when we see them. It's somewhat of an undiscovered jewel.

damn I was thinking about this not too long ago because my town has 5% Asian and like 90 or 95% white.. anyways sometimes you see a few Asian females (Japanese) and a white male walking and so on.. but it got me thinking just what you said Kaius you never seen an older couple they are always young and I wonder what the divorce rate is if they get married.

It seems to be a rare combination over here in the UK, at least where I live anyway. I know of one couple, she is white, he is Japanese who are together and they live opposite me and they have a restaurant. He's a cheerful, pleasant guy, she is the most miserable cow who ever walked the planet. What he sees in her, I don't know.

I also know of another guy, my step dads friend, who imported his bride from the Phillippines and they are still together after 15 years. Other than that, I know of none or see none. Might be different in say, bigger cities like London.
