Do you ever just want to kiss and hold your partner tightly all night in order to feel close to them? Or do you tend to use kissing and hugging just as a precursor to sex?

we hug a lot too, I grab her all the time for a snuggle. in fact, it's usually her who's pushing me away going "I'm trying to cook dinner..!"/"baby, my show's on..."/"darl, we're in the supermarket!" I think it's a healthy way of showing someone you care for them, or reminding a long-lasting lover that you still find them irresistible.

as for leading to sex, I leave that to kissing...

lol I push away too. I dont mind a hug or holding on a minute but any long than that and I get cranky, in public anyway. My bf always gets hard as hell by hugging. -_0 I only hug him in bed if im ready to get slimy and nasty.

I absolutely HATE serial hugging, too, but I think she meant hugs that included your significant other - not strangers.

A good hug is warm, enthusiastic, and tight. A bad one is the equivelent of an air kiss (why bother?).

I do love to be wrapped up in my mans arms, to feel close and secure.

Often when i hug my girlfriend, i'm not trying to initiate sex. Perhaps occassionally that is the case. Kissing is better for initiating sex.

Of course, often hugging will follow on to other things.
