The Monday Again!

I'm not because I'm not used to them but I'm sure I will get in the spirit!

It's Wednesday for us

Monday was Meh, Tuesday was awesome. I took my gf to a buffet in a Brazilian restaurant, the food was incredible!

My weekend was amazing. On Sunday, my husband and I cooked a traditional British lamb roast with mint sauce for six friends. He cooked the roast and I made a pear walnut salad and saffron orzo. And we drank a heroic amount of wine. The perfect Sunday.

I got sufficiently drunk on Saturday for my college's football game against the in state rival. My friends bailed me out of a fight on two occasions at the game because of my loose lipped vocabulary. It was very effective at riling up the opposing teams fans.

After I sobered up I went dt for the night with friends from the rival college.

Nice to see old friends, and college football is always welcome.

Monday was a first gear day in every sense of the word. My list of shit to do was a mile long and my motivation made it through the first checkpoint.......out of say....10.

Holidays are welcome, but they need to either be sunny and warm or cold with snow. This blisteringly cold nonsense with no snow really doesn't do much for me. No skiing and no riding >.>

Today was like 62 though, almost a new record for the date.

Yeah the weather is confusing right now. I just wish it would do something!! Last Year Washington DC had snow... but the dangerous kind. Lots of Ice, Freeze Overs... Blah.
I hope this year we get a good amount of snow

We ate a lot. What they do is they bring the food out to you, which ends up being their whole menu and you take a pick of what you want. You can pick a bit of everything to sample, which is what we did.

First they brought out Brazilian rice, salads and deep fried bananas and potatoes. These were the side dishes. Then they followed it up with all kinds of roasted, bbq'ed and steamed meat simmered in different sauces. The service was incredible too, the waiters were always there when needed, they always politely explained everything to you, the ingredients used, their special techniques. It was amazing, best restaurant I've been to the whole year (and that's saying a lot).

Wow, for a second there I thought I'd taken so much cold meds that I didn't know what day of the week it was, lol.

I didn't do jack, except sit down and write an entire exam paper off the top of my head in three hours. Human Resources courses are such a joke.
