Can you be in love with 2 men at the same time?

    Is that possible?

    Evidently it is possible...

I've run into a number of girls who could be "in love" with 3 or 4 men in the same night.

Were those girls scantily dressed and walking up and down the sidewalk?

Well, yeah. Aren't those the girls we're talking about?

    Maybe I misunderstood the question.

Infatuated maybe but not in love. In that case I would call it a crush or infatuation

You can like a lot of people. You can't love more than one person at a time. No.

I agree with everyone here. You can only truly love one person at one time.....you can be infatuated with several.

I'm concerned here, Torn.......your other thread is about leaving your husband for cheating on you. Are you actually considering leaving because of someone else?

To play the devil's advocate: I love more than one child.... why not more than one adult?

LoL @ Vashti. I would play into that but my answer would sound extremely wrong. Two different kinds of love.

That's true... the love of a parent for a child is a stronger bond.

But can you make the distinction between platonic and non platonic love?

I think the answer is yes you can love more than one person in a non platonic fashion, but in reality you love no one but yourself.

This is like debating whether the bible or evolution is the answer to our past. The debate will rage until the sun burns out. You can figure out where I stand on that by reading my last sentence.

There's no reason to think platonic or maternal love is any different from romantic love. So, if you can love more than one child, why should partners be any different?

Biologically, true monogamy is rare... so certainly we are wired for multiple partners.

I'm just helping Vash be a she-devil, btw.
