I need examples of good ideas for GRand Romantic Gestures

I am a mature man with a lovely amazing girlfriend. We are mature professionals and are reeling for the recent discovery of our wonderful synchronise emotions and passions. I want a gesture that is creative and different. ANy ideas would be very much appreciated.

Damn, I thought you were Cybog coming back to post.

How appreciated? Please post in US dollar values.

Well think of all the ways you have been romantic in the past, and do something way out of the ordinary from those, put effort into it, and it will be romantic.

Sorry folks, I do not know who this Cybog is...I am merely Cyborg.
A little more about my GF and I. I am 45 and she is 42. We are both professionals and enjoy fine dining. I am a movie buff and she is also butless so. I am a homebrewer of beer but she is a bit of a wine buff. I have been introducing her to the joys of offroading and camping. She tends to prefer nice hotels. I am a good writer of erotic stories. I have written many of them for her. She adores these. One idea I have is to hire a voice talent to read and record these stories for her. I have written them from her perspective so to hear them being read aloud by a woman might be very exciting for her.

One thing that has great potential is that she used to be a competitive ice skater.... I am thinking something to do with that would be cool. Hire out the entire rink for just us for an hour or two....or? I cannot skate worth a damn but she is suppopsed to be good. I have never seen her skate.

I have done the usual gifts, and flowers types of things.... I want to do somethign that will make a huge impression on her. Our realtionship is great and I just want to lock her in solidly so to speak. I dont want her to be able to even imagine herself ever being with another man.

Grand gesture ideas folks.... what you got?

That skating thing would be so great for the both of you, she gets to do something she really enjoyed and you get to learn how to skate. And it could be very romantic, as long as you make it that way, you two can really bond and have a good laugh (mostly at yourself cuz im sure you'll be on your ass most of the time ) but yeah, do the skating thing, and make it a surprise, that will help a lot also. Hope this helps ya out

I'm not a fan of grand gestures. Smaller but more frequent gestures of appreciation and understanding are a lot more appealing and effective.
    Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
