Some people have game. Their parents are cool and they breed their kids in a pro-social environment. I, on the other hand, can't talk to girls. I have no trouble being funny around guys, but just not girls, especially pretty girls.

I'm nervous to start the conversation and I can't get over it. Do I need to do it more often? Get rejected a couple of times and get used to it? How can I develop the comfort around pretty girls that I need to be smooth?

But I sometimes have difficulty talking to girls in casual settings (I've gotten better) and since I have given this some time and thought I know what helps with talking to girls for at least me. I can only speak for myself, but maybe this will help him

You have to remember that girls are just people with similar wants and feelings as you and not Goddesses that some guys like to put on a pedestal. Approach them as you would anyone else, make sure you feel comfortable in your own skin when you talk to them, girls can sense insecurity a mile away.

Like anything else in life, practice makes you better. Ignore her looks, imagine that she has a really hairy ass if thats what it takes for you. If you can talk to the average girl, there's nothing stopping you from talking to a pretty girl. Pretty girls are in the same social circles, they're used to the same conversation, the only difference is that guys are intimidated by their looks and treat them differently. Stand out. Don't treat her differently.
