What the hell? What does inter-racial relationships have to do with anything. He's leaving in the past and treating you like a slave it seems. Tell him to wake the hell up and tell him how you feel before you dump him. I don't think you should rush to the dumping. Talk things out first. Then, if he doesn't change or listen, dump him.
I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.

She's made it clear that she doesn't want to break up with him. So I think that she should just tell him that he is taking it too far. I wouldn't care whether he thinks I'm being sensitive or not. The point is... he's taking it from comedy to insulting. No one should have to tolerate that. Perhaps he feels comfortable making jokes like that because he justify that he isn't a racist because his girlfriend is black.

i do think that people are over sensitive. women jokes, irish jokes are all stupid but does it make me angry? no. and does it make me start thinking that the jokers actually judge me and look down on me, maybe but isn't that their problem? it's certainly not mine. as long as they don't condone aggressive behavior towards me or women or irish and is wonderful in all other aspects then i too would be forgiving of the comments based on his actual behavior otherwise. he obviously has listened to these comments regularly in the past and unfortunately for him is unable to see past them and grow up. anyway tell him to stfu as it annoys you.

    xxbabeechick,

I strongly recommend reviewing your relation with him. Does he really love and RESPECT you?

To me, it doesn't sound like it.

Maybe it's time to place some boundaries on how far he can go with his behaviour.

But it's your life. Maybe you have to figure things out the hard way.

They say love is blind, but friendship is clearvoyant.

Having her as a girlfriend gives him a get out of jail free card with racists jokes.

"It's okay, my girlfriend is black."

I'm not a racist, I have a black girlfriend to prove it?
