Hello! I just joined the forum in hopes someone can help me.
My boyfriend and I just broke up about 6 weeks ago after a 5 year relationship. He moved out and im still in the same house with a roommate.
We didnt talk for about 3 weeks, and when we had to, it would be the typical ignorant attitude most people have when they first break up, but i still really love him and regret breaking up with him every day.
One night we got together, ended up sleeping together, and have been seeing each other every few days since.
He wants to get to know each other all over again and repair our relationship before we start something again, but im scared im putting all this effort into fixing this just to have my heart broken again. How long should i wait for him?? what are some things i can do to show him that im not the same person i was and to get him to fall in love with me all over again?
Sorry this is so long. thanks for any help you can give me.

Yes i did, because he wouldnt work and he was always asking me for money, but since i kicked him out he's got a good job.

if you still love him then why not? maybe he tried to find a job so that he can win you back ..

He doesnt want to get back together, he wants to work on our friendship and re-learn what we liked about eachother, but i just dont want to be hurt again. I love him so much and i really want this to work..

try to talk to him heart to heart if what he really wants in your relationship
