Raising kids is pretty much a full time job. That's my experience after 3 of them.

As far as I can see, the easiest thing for any man is to cross polenate as many women as possible and have the women raise their children on their own. If that's the new ideal for some women, if they no longer want to reward support then that's kinda sad.

Oh well, I suppose go the new liberated man!

I would ask the question: how did it get to that point?

I'd say through selfishness, ignorance and pride

So sad when there's a guy who has kids with like 4-5 different women...not caring about any of them...can't stand guys like that..but then again...i sometimes blame women for allowing themselves to get into that situation..

    Lack of commitment? Peer pressure?

I rather think a combination of a lot of things.

Young women in New York and several of the nation’s other largest cities who work full time have forged ahead of men in wages, according to an analysis of recent census data.
Nationally, men’s wages in general declined while women’s remained the same.

Several experts also said that rising income for women might affect marriage rates if women expect their mates to have at least equivalent salaries and education.

“When New York college women say there are few eligible men around, they’re right if they mean they’ll only settle for someone with an education akin to their own,” Professor Hacker said.
    Where's that gold digger?

Anyway, like the article says, “New York is an achievement-based city, and achievement here is based on how well you use your brain, not what you do with your back,”. Therefore, my work is safe.

You'd be safe anyway. Women love men that can work with their hands.
