Talking to my brother about love

My 22 year old brother says he's in love with a 17 year old girl he has only talked to through texts for 2 weeks. He's never really had a girlfriend and has a really hard time talking to girls. I feel he's way too rushed and am concerned. Any ideas on what I can talk to him about?

Yeah that's what i'm worried about. She just graduated high school. I'm glad he finally has someone to talk to and genuinly likes him her age just concerns me. He falls hard and fast when a girl finally gives him the time of day.

How can he be 'in love'? He's in love with some figment of his imagination.

Yeah never met her or anything. However we are flying down where she lives to visit friends in less than 2 weeks. Hopefully I can get through to him before he actually meets her

No actually a friend introduced them just to give him someone to talk to. I said I didn't like it as soon as I heard she was only 17. Won't be 18 for another 5 months. I talked to him yesterday and convinced the both of them to take things a lot slower unroll she's 18. I guess we will see hopefully I can keep him out of trouble
