    Sent Drawing to Boyfriend

Last night... I was missing the comfort of my bf... been a while since I had "seen" him... and I lost most of my pictures of him, along with the rest of my belongings. However, I found one picture of him... one from about 5 or so years ago, when he was 30... A novelty he shared, when I had asked what he looked like when he was younger. Luckily I had saved it on the laptop...

So, I was in the mood to draw (I'm sure all the artists will agree with me, it's not so much a mood as a compulsion)... and decided, what the hell... I bet I could draw him. And I did, in record fashion... literally in one night.

I was wondering, how would this be received? For all the guys out there... how would you feel/react, if the woman you loved sent a sketched portrait of you?

This is the drawing I sent him...

"The weakest soul, knowing its own weakness, and believing this truth that strength can only be developed by effort and practice, will, thus believing, at once begin to exert itself, and, adding effort to effort, patience to patience, and strength to strength, will never cease to develop, and will at last grow divinely strong."

Hey that's pretty damn good! I would be very appreciative of such a gift.

You should frame it if you can muster up some cash.

    I love it

I would love it. A gift like that would mean more to me than a gold watch or any other hollow materialistic gift.

Maybe he's the guy's younger brother? Though keep in mind, he's 36 now... and that drawing was based on when he was 30. Eh... only slightly heavier, hair is starting to grey... and he dresses a little more reserved now.

Anyway... I got in touch with him today... He loved the drawing... I don't think I've ever heard him say "I love you" so many times in a conversation. He was very amorous, affectionate, and suggestive... He thanked me many times for the "lovely email."

So, I'm grinning like an idiot at the moment. That really made my day.
