c'mon, beer and salt are the only two consistent things of my diet.

Miso, try replacing salt with acid- vinegar or citrus. It'll help.
I've been trying to get Cali Boy to cut back on the salt too. It's just not good for us.

Most of the stuff you purchase at the store already contains salt (except certain fresh produce), so there is in general no need to 'spice' things up with salt.
Look for sodium chloride on the label.
Adding sodium is a considered a cheap way to improve the taste and texture of countless processed and prepared foods.
According to the US Dietary Guidelines, over three quarters of the salt in the average American diet comes from processed foods.
Food manufacturers have been trying to lower salt content, driven by consumer demand and health concerns, and there is a host of products on the market which can be used as alternatives.
Yet large amounts of sodium appear in “unexpected places”, such as desserts. Also, lower-fat products in particular might be higher in sodium compared to full-fat counterparts.
Additionally, the sodium in some of the raw materials has increased naturally, due to growers reducing crop rotations and water conservation efforts.
Dietary guidelines recommend that healthy adults get no more than 2,300 mg of sodium a day but the average American ingests 2,900 to 4,300 mg daily.

Not to mention ruins your teeth too much.
I want a girl who likes to talk. ......I just dont know what to say sometimes and would rather just listen.
i've been doing really good laying off the salt.
i think i've gotten used to it because i used to put it on everything but now i put it on nothing and it tastes just fine. it's addictive, i think.
i also haven't been retaining a ton of water around pms time, which is nice. i used to look ten pounds heavier right before my period and i haven't noticed a difference lately.
i still need to do more research on it. i know that it has effects on the kidneys but i'm not sure what the effect is. take care of your kidneys people they are your life force!!!
oh yeah, a little grated parmesan or romano cheese is a good alternative i have found.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.
yeah. i've also started buying non-salted butter. apparently they use salt to preserve butter so they'll use old, going bad butter and salt it and sell it.
the non salted butter is really good. i can't notice the difference because my taste for salt has changed.
giga- tobasco sauce. i'm an addict. that is all.
baby ya hustle. but me i hustle harder.
