In your opinion, is cyber sex in a roleplaying game cheating?

Is cyber sex in a role playing game online (not chat room), cheating?

IMO: Long distance relationship, yes, but not if you live with the person.

    Your thoughts?

Buy the new SIMS, a box of tissues and knock yourself out.

Cybering in an online game is not only weird, but a total waste of energy you could put towards the real thing?

If you need the verification of others to make you feel ok about the situation then it's probably not a good idea. Just imagine your partner being in the same situation. How would you want them to react? Would it be ok if they did the same thing. I think that this is a personal call you need to make based on how strongly you feel about your parnter and what expectations you have of each other.

Technically, I'm going to have to say... who cares? Even if it isn't "cheating", if I found out my husband was doing that, I'd be devastated.

It doesn't have to be cheating to be weird and wrong, you know.

I don't know about cheating, but that would be pretty damn sad and pathetic.

I don't understand how you consider it cheating if it's a long distance relationship but not if you live together? That's along the same lines of the theory that it's not cheating if you're in different zip codes.

I think if one of your main priorities is to cyber and internet role play, than chances are you don't have to worry about the imaginary partner your cheating on.

Lol. I don't know whether or not your significant other would consider it cheating or not, but I can guarantee you that whatever they do think about it will not be good.
