I enjoyed thinking up a nickname for the new boyfriend of my youngest sister (the less-than-brilliant girl): Pimpin' Jesus.

And yes, you should easily be able to picture him now.

Y'know, Zarathu, you can't trick them forever. They are only so gullible.

A couple of years ago when I was in a long term relationship my employer asked me to help out one of our affiliates with their network setup. The head of that affiliate organization was this girl, not only was she beautiful, but she was incredibly intelligent, articulate and empathic, she spoke on this deeply human and understanding level not afraid to show her vulnerabilities. Talking to her got me thinking at the time about my own relationship and all the things it was missing. I guess in a way talking to her somehow made me realize that I was with a wrong person. We lost touch after that.

A couple of weeks ago I saw her on the TV doing talking points and today I was asked to help them move again. I spent a bit of time talking to her and some of the feelings kinda came back. It's probably not a good idea to mix business with pleasure, but damn what an incredible woman she is.

Ever notice how with certain people no matter what you do you just can't get along? They get along with others, but there's something between you two which would make you butt heads even in most perfect conditions. And likewise, the opposite some people you just get along with perfectly even in the toughest settings. All insults and grudges are instantly forgotten. There's that strong connection which never breaks.

I wonder why that is. Why it's so hard to relate to some people and so incredibly easy to others. It's almost like destiny (something I don't believe in)

yeah... I get my first coffee at 8.30am from this kind of dour, no- nonsense Russian women right outside my office building. She's perfect cause I don't want no chit chat at that time of the morning. And f-ck, she can make a cup of coffee.

I get another one before I start night classes. This chirpy asian guy who stands out in the cold and the dark. He's always so cheerful, always keen for a chat, I've kind of struck up a friendship with him.

Aussies have you Italians to thank for showing us the way, DM. You can get good coffee all over Sydney these days thanks to them.
Is it burnin'? Well, f-ck, now you're learnin'.

I've also drank some damn good coffee down here in Louisiana too.

I'd thank the frenchies for that.

that first coffee in the morning is pretty special. I always feel pretty ragged up until then, and then it's like the warmth of it spreads through your whole body and your mind suddenly becomes clear and able to function.

I see that Giga decided to let my cute internet stalker out of his cage for a pee & dump in the forum again.

Just finished watching the movie "Coraline". It's a bit sinister, but overall freakin' awesome.
