I am 23. I waited a long time to try and lose my virginity. When I finally tried last October, he couldn't even get the head in before I was wincing in excruciating pain. Now since then I've tried several things... loosening it up with a finger...any ANY type of penetration is unbareably painful :-( It's terrible. basically, i think it`s just a matter of loosening up.
i do agree that you should see a doctor but i think that maybe it`s a mental issue and you`re thinking about it too much. maybe you`re just not ready as well, even if you think you are.

I don't know about penetration being impossible but this might be normal as since I went through the same thing. Sex usually hurts the first time or so I've heard. But the pain for me was like he'll and didn't stop until many instances of sex. It may be that it just needs some time and you need to be put into the mood beforehand with some foreplay to help you better relax. Hope it improves for you!

Maybe you should get some lube first and try that before going to see the doctor? He may be exceptionally large, you exceptionally small, and that you need to stretch out a bit (vaginally as it were) before it will be "workable"

Every time I have slept with my wife for the first time in a while (IE: a month due to when we were dating long distance or whatever.) and lube wasn't specifically used I would cause her to bleed. When we are having sex regularly (usually) this doesn't happen quite as easily, but I still use lube religiously.

Use lube. My first bf was huge and we couldn't get it in. Although once it was in, it felt amazing. Use lube, try doggy, that's what worked for us the first time. Easier to fit. It just hurts because your tight, but you'll enjoy it as much as he does once the pain subsides a bit.
