irregular verbs are a big challenge.
so in spanish there are 4 kinds of verbs. -ar, -er, -ir, and irregular.
practice those.
nouns...
in spanish every noun is either feminine or masculine. el is masculine, la is feminine.
el hombre- the man
la mujer- the woman
el cajon- the box
la mesa- the table.
usually nouns that end with -a have a la in front of them and those that end in -o have an el in front of them, but not always!
for example...
el dia- the day
la noche- the night.
in spanish, day is masculine and night is feminine. don't ask why, it's just the way it is.
if you're using nouns in plural, then it goes like this...
los dias- the days
las noches- the nights
los cajones-the boxes
las mesas- the tables
las mujeres- the women
los hombres- the men
