Long time no see. How do you save a nation from an economic downfall?

Who is your dady and what does he do? /Austrian accent
    Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame

What glass-based material with maximized translucency is enough to support live loads of up to 10 people (+30% safety load) on a cantilevered platform that extends 4 meters from its supporting ledge?

    I loved this guy.

What kind of artillery would you recommend for a one-shot residential house demo? Approx 5000 sq ft, downslope. Its partially blocking my view. I've got a pretty strong, concrete reinforced deck I could attach the mount to.

Or mbe something from a large vehicle at closer range? What do you suggest?

I think I know the answer to this. In fact, I think I've seen it (but not stood on it).

Tell me tell me tell me! Got to research glass as a structural element for one of my design ideas. Trying to avoid a supporting framework though.

Unless you're talking about the Eureka Tower platform thingy that moves.

What class is that for Lipp, I actually find your question intriguing granted I have no idea what the answer is. Google said a ladder and my roommate says a bong, neither of which seem to work.

It's just an architectural design studio and a question of my own, I'm not even sure if it's possible to do it. Ladder and bong is out of the ballpark though.

What about that big glass platform they installed over the grand canyon, or someplace? Google for it.

But, glass alone is pretty damn strong. Glass fibres are stronger than steel, I think. Maybe you could make something out of fibre optic bundles? Woven? Not to mention the cool lighting designs you could make as a side benefit.

Cheers, I'll check it out, I know there are some luxury villas that have swimming pool glass jutting out from cliffsides, must be awesome to swim over a 100m drop.

Glass is strong for sure, have to look into it more but the main issues I know of so far are 1. thermal expansion (which also makes it more brittle), 2. If it is broken it shatters (or fibreglass which doesn't shatter, but still bends if its not supported as a frame, and 3. that it almost always relies on framing which it kind of sucks for, will look into some more high-tech stuff but it's just a 1-week project so I just have to let the tutor know that it's vaguely possible to do.

Maybe Ill upload some model pictures just for kicks, but only been doing proper archi for half a year (first half year of uni was environmental studies, archi subject that I added as a filler changed my mind).
