New topic, let's tie political economics to mating for a minute How is the economy effecting your love life? Are you using new strategies to meet people--strategies that are effective and cost-effective?

I hope nobody suggests that we start recycling condoms
Nope things pretty good in our department.
We're both savers, we both have jobs and we keep our money separate.
Not really, while the economy on a whole doesn't affect me my personal budget and time schedule has as expected tightened up for this year, so dining out and going on trips is less of an option, but we have plenty of fun without it.
I guess in a small way it contributed to me dumping my ex of over a year last week.... She lives 2 hours away and with gas going up and jobs cutting cost, i'm losing money...
But i wouldn't say it's hit hard...
"We are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically.
That’s kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that.
It’s not that we are better than the universe, we are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us."

We're staying in more and watching DVDs in bed. It's been very conducive to intimacy, I must say.
