Eminem's better than a lot of other famous rappers, but he's not among my list of elite. I admit Eminem's got pretty good rage to him, and he expresses it intelligently, much like Tupac did..except I'm partial to originals so Tupac's much better in my book. For flow, Biggie had no equal. Snoop's early work had an awsome flow, but now you can spot his stuff a mile away...he's become predictable, somehow...repetitive??

8ball & MJG had credible messages, as did Outkas's early material. Outkast has evolved and while they maintain a high level of creativity, their popularity makes them loose popularity with me. Maybe I'm just way too old school. I left rap behind in around 97 when I pursued other musical horizons.

Same thing with Shakira. I liked her first couple of albums when she was a true rocker. Black hair, a couple of pounds heavier, but still beautiful. Now she's so much like a Britney copy physically, and her music is totally comercial.
