I am just wondering, have you gotten some great advice here? has LF helped you as you hoped, made things clearer in your mind?

Sure, it helped me. I came here to figure out what the hell was wrong with me and I why I couldn't commit in a relationship. And then I read the problems of those who do manage to commit and I realized I was doing just fine on my lonesome.

LF helped me with alot of things. It helped with my relationship, and it gave me alot of male perspectives on things that I didnt realize I was doing wrong. I enjoy reading alot of the advice given because I feel alot of the advice given on here is straight to the point with no sugar coated answers, and I like that alot.

I came hear a few years ago w/a fairly serious problem. I lurked for a while b/c I wasn't sure there would be anyone who could actually relate to my age & issue. The advice I got was terrific & I was convinced then about the benefits of the collective experience of the internet.

Now its largely habit & wanting to return the favour. Plus, I don't have any other real vices, so I view this place as a kind of online "Cheers".

This is a pretty special group of regulars here, tho. I've scanned other forums and they aren't nearly as well-balanced, IMO.

Actually, it might be fun to make a thread about which "Cheers/LF" character you think you might be one of these days.

yes I don't think about it much, but I'd say I have learned a bit on here. Particularly about the way women think, except the more I learn the more confused I get. I used to think of them as kind of soft males, but they're a different animal altogether.

Before I came on here I had no idea why the divorce rate was so high. That, and my friends now wonder why I don't flinch when I hear about stupid girls falling in love with complete nitwits or guys being total doormats.

And I don't feel alone anymore; it's comforting to know that there are a few people in the galaxy who agree with the things I say.
