Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil

"Obama is a socialist!"
I found this so funny because people act like we don't already in a country with many socialist elements to be found in it's state and federal governments.
And McCain hasn't said much about cutting taxes, but he's been adamant about stating he wouldn't raise them.
This republican government is already taking 1/3 of my check...
I know Fras, but it could be a hell of a lot worse. Like in Sweden, Norway or Denmark! My worst nightmares
Somebody just needs to fix the credit situation and get us on track to addressing our national debt. I don't care who the f*ck it is.
And honestly?
Everything these guys say sounds great and all, but until I see results, I'll never be really sold. I'm just trying to keep my job, save money, and maybe (gasp!) make enough to have health insurance too!
Like I said before, DM, medicine is a service industry. If McCain drives your country further down the shit path, then you're pay will be affected whether you want to believe it or not. You can only command high pay if ppl (and insurance cos) can afford it.
And then you need to consider the kind of working conditions you'll be prepared to accept. Really want to be doing medicine in an industry where you'll have to account for every drop of drug you administer, even when you know there are better choices?
Obama is pushing for universal health. McCain isn't. Its not just about taxation on your income, kiddo (and there will always be creative ways to cook the books anyway).
Universal healthcare, hell no. So we can be like Canada where you can't get an operation done after April?
It's true, the fact that people without insurance try to avoid the hospital has only been a benefit to those with it. While the ER is required to treat those that come in, no non-insured person wants that bill so it actually keeps those waiting room less full than they are. Once everyone has insurance, all hell will break loose.
I guess there's just no winning.
So, how you all feeling about the 'bailout' with the stock market still going to shit? Think it did anything, or was it just a last dash at the pig-trough?
I don't know. I just want the assholes who bought houses they couldn't afford to be burned at the stake
