    Bailout Bill Fails

Ok, as a layperson I've been struggling to try and figure out what the widespread repercussions are going to be now that the Bailout Bill failed (besides we're ****ed).

    Any thoughts?

We would be f*cked either way.

I hope the economy crashes, people become desperate, pick up their guns and revolt.

Revolt against what, our high standard of living?

I'm glad no one revolted in 1929

Is there a certain reason you want people to revolt, Fras? Or was this just humorous?

I just favor the idea of the United States going back to it roots every now and then.

That's all that was necessary. Revolt, aka violence, is completely unnecessary

I don't believe revolt is completely unnecessary, I wouldn't complain much if people ran around beheading a few politicians.

    That's democracy.

No, it is a Kurt Russell reference. He played Snake Pliskin in "Escape from New York" which is a bad ass movie.

Holy crap, I figured it would be a sure thing, that bill being passed.

I shudder to think what the aftermath of that could look lie.

it would've just stalled the inevitable. and it would've cost us far too much money.

the people who should be bailed out are small businesses.
