Ever sit back and just appreciate the thrill of existence? I've been preoccupied lately, but this afternoon it was really nice just to think about how good it feels to be alive, and everything else that goes along with that.

Last night I went down and went out for dinner with my ninety year old grandma. She still loves to go out to restaurants to eat. She has a very grounding presence. She's just bought a new kitten too, a gorgeous little tabby. The most playful thing you ever saw. It spent the night stalking me while I slept, and pouncing onto my slumbering back.

Now, freshly showered, I'm about to go for a few drinks with some friends of mine. Everything feels right with the world.

Ever sit back and just contemplate the misery of existence? I've been overworked lately, and this afternoon it was really depressing just to think about how bad it feels to be alive, and everything else that goes along with that.

Last night I went down and went out for dinner, but my date never showed up and it was my only evening of the week. She probably did it just to spite me. She has a very annoying presence. She's just met another guy too, a sickeningly style-focused jock. The most annoying bastard you ever saw. I spent the night worrying while I tried to sleep.

Now, waking up late yet again, I'm about to go for another meaningless work session, just like any other day. Everything feels wrong with the world.

There, I converted it into its evil twin! Just for the hell of it.

But yeah, some days life just rocks.Talking to a special someone earlier on usually triggers it. <3

I have a pretty stressful job and sometimes I get wrapped up in the stress. Then I get this feeling and it surprises me. "What is this strange, unfamiliar feeling? Ohhh, happiness! I forgot about that!"

I love days like that! It seems like the stars are all lined up in your favor, and you are positive you will have a great day. Anyway, the religiously inclined call that feeling "god". I don't know about that; I just wish I had that feeling more often...

Yep, I get that feeling occasionally. Just a feeling of pure contentment with everything, where I feel like I've got it all, even if it's not a lot.

I call it a 'perfect moment'.

I love those kind of days. I had quite a few of those during my summer bike rides. Nothing like California weather, overlooking the ocean from a bluff in a multi-million dollar home area, riding your bike in one of the best areas in SoCal for cycling.

I live in paradise.

It's 6.50am here. I just got home. A big night. It's morning outside but pouring rain, and I can think of nothing better than hopping into bed. So everything still feels right with the world.
