a poem for him?

we are in long distance for a while, and i suddenly want to write a poem form him like " good things i remember about you" something but i feel like listing the details of the good things is kind of cheesy..any idea?

I think it is a rare guy who really appreciates any poetry other than limericks.

I think if you have the desire to tell him how much you love him then you should just write a letter.

Poems are often dreadful and really corny.
