I can't comfortably drink enough water during a day to meet the recommendation. Apparently I'm in a 24/7 state of dehydration. Okay, it's not that I couldn't do it physically comfortably, but I never do it unless I make a concentrated effort...like, "Oh, it's 3PM, I'd better go drink 2 glasses of water for no apparent reason." I never really observe it, but it's annoying that it's a recommendation and I feel like I should try to.

I've never been one for placebos. A lot of the time, I swear real things aren't working. ...but actually, has anyone ever accounted for the dehydrating effect of alcohol in say, a light beer and figured out how much water it's equivalent to? if it's not too far off from 1:1, that would be a kinda funny way to stay hydrated, lol

I recently read that you lose twice as much fluid as you take in when drinking.

Anyway Aegis, medically speaking, it isn't necessary to drink 64 oz of water a day. You only need enough to keep producing urine and to ensure it is a normal color (not dark). All the rest is lost through urination anyway.

I drink 64oz a day easy. Probably lots more than that. My thirst is never satiated. If I didn't watch myself I could chug a 2 liter bottle of coke in one sitting.

Nope. But I don't exactly spend all day in the bathroom or anything as seems to be the case with diabetes. I'm not sure where all the fluid goes. I guess I have a gigantic bladder.

Well, what annoyed me today is something that has been annoying me for a few days. My favourite torrent tracker/site is down and I miss it so much. I'm speaking about music-vid.com. Is anyone else using it?

I'm annoyed because I'm tired. I'm tired because for the past two nights, I can't seem to get comfortable in bed. It's weird.

I only like dirty bedtime stories. And they don't help me sleep.

Oh, I just bet you can, DM.

I'm sure there's not too many things you couldn't pervert.

Getting about 3-4 hours of sleep a day because of jetlag, missed out on the first week so got to catch up, taking time for the work permit process to finish, going to be a hassle to contact overseas referees for the CV, and forgot my modelling materials at uni so that when combined with an essential workbook not being available yet I can't catch up on the subjects even if I wanted to, and having to research whether to look for student loans from another source or try to pull through with job salaries.

Oh well, clear the schedule and clamp your teeth. The roller-coaster ride has only just begun.

This doesn't really annoy me, but rather it freaks me out...

There is a LIZARD in my bathroom, trapped under a box. My husband is out of town, and I don't want to touch it but I am home alone. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatever will I do???

Do you think the fire station would come out to pick up a lizard?
