Can I just say I hate those ads with the tag line, "Have a happy period" that make it sound like your period is christmas? They make me want to smack someone, especially when I'm PMSing.

ARe there really? That's hilarious. I'm surprised more guys haven't used that line on bitchy women! Guess they are afraid for their privates.

LOL, Citycat. The copywriter at the ad agency was probably a guy, too!

Like me, they probably consider PMS their moments of clarity.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

My therapist actually told me not to make any big decisions while I was PMSing. So I don't. I wait until it's over, and I'm more rational I think it's the best advice she ever gave me.

    I love my shrink!

I assume that is a good advice as well. I turn down training programs during these days so I wont be nervous or somehow not well focused!

Men are never going to see women as equals in the workplace. We are absent too often .

I have AWFUL cramps, and I used to take Ibuprofen, but my doctor told me to try Aleve. It really helps. She also told me it's more effective if you start it a couple days before your period starts.

I suffer from PMT and I can tell you it is very VERY real. I see PMT similarly to post partum depression. These days it is much more accepted that after having a Baby your homornes are racing and doing wierd things to your body - such as making you depressed.

When I get bad PMT I am sad for NO REASON. I am a very happy person. I am usually upbeat and fun..but I can't control it. For a couple of days I get teary at stupid things and get very depressed. I also get pain coupled with it.

I am lucky that I have a very understanding partner who just nurtures me during this time. I have spoken to GP's and they are useless. They just try to give you anti depressants to keep the drug companies in business.

Oh and this business that it is psychosomatic is a load of sh*te. I am a happy person..I don't want to feel depressed at all!

I really think that if men had periods and PMT there would be a cure by now.
