Yeah, it is hard. I'm Asian and I've always wanted to date a white/European male. They are fascinating. My family would never approve so I searched for the whitest guy possible personality-wise that just looked Asian. It worked out nicely for me. He really likes Italian food.

I've had crushes on girls of many different races. My hardest recent 'infatuation' was with a Romani girl

It's hard for the cultures, as the main reason.
Religions would conflict each other and fights would
break out, before even getting to know the person.

P.S. For me personally, I like to stick to Europeans or Polish, because
our cultures are practically the same, and it would work out a lot easier.
I do find that there would be more opportunities to find your
significant other, if religion didn't play such a big role as role.

Yes, it is more because of the culture..I think in a interracial relationship, just for the two people involved, it is OK... Not that hard.. But as soon as other ppl involved, its getting complicated..concerned about what others think, the family, friends, everything..I am dating with this guy, he even didn't introduce me to his frds and everything... it's like we are dating privately...no one knows he is dating with me.. I am not too pleased with that.. It seems that he is concerned much stuff cuz I am Asian...But what can I do? I've just been in this country for half a year... How can I be that involved with this culture?!

Go for the one you love, to hell with what the others think. If they don't like it they better get used to it.

I am definitely OK with whatever others think. That doesn't bother me at all. But it seems that he doesn't think so... Feel so tired of it...

I also don't have a problem with it, but society has set standards for
people to obey by and it seems to them like we are breaking them.
P.S. This is why we have wars in the world, because people thrive
for power and their cultures don't agree to how the others do things.
It's a cruel world, some people can't respect what they don't know.

I've dated a few that weren't from my race/culture, and it's never been an issue. My ex husband was from India. Our marriage didn't fail over cultural differences either....he was just an irresponsible asswipe.

I don't give a shit if people approve of it, it's only as difficult as the couple choose to make it. For my ex I learned to assimilate into his culture (he was pretty much already assimilated into mine) and it worked out fine.

I've recently noticed that relationships become a lot easier when there are cultural similarities. Less clashes, better understanding and more things to talk about.

But nothing against interracial relationships, they bring more variety.

They are definitely easier to manage in some places rather than others. If you live in a larger, progressive city, for exampe, it would be a lot easier than if you lived in a small, backwards town where you might be subjected to actual violence for dating outside your race.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I'm an Asian male and I find Jewish, Latino and White girls very attractive. My last gf was white, and there wasn't any problems with race. I think it is easier for non-North Americans who have grown up here... plus my parents don't care who I date so.
