    "Invented by a School-Teacher!"

Haha I always thought that was the funniest attempt at marketing.

No, I use Airborne. I actually buy it when I'm in the states b/c you can't get it here. Dunno what's in it, but it works esp in the early stages when you're just starting to feel sick. I didn't believe it either, but it works. Ask any pilot or flight attendant, they all take it.

BD, when I'm sick I also take extra VitC & make a hot tea steeped w/Chinese star anise. Its really for flu, but it has some kind of antiviral compound in it (drug companies are studying it for treating avian flu).

When I'm sick, I sleep for as much as 13+ hours with the help of NyQuil for as many nights as I can afford to. I also drink a ton of orange juice and grape juice, and eat apples and pasta and bread and rice. Basically, any type of healthy food. I eat 3 or 4 vitamins a day, and just relax as much as possible. Drink a lot of water too, like everyone else said

Sleep is good advice. Too bad it's so hard to come by when you're majoring in cognitive neuroscience and doing pre-med on the side. Not to mention I've been trying to dig myself out of this marijuana-induced exam score rut all semester. Hopefully this cold will leave me feeling smarter than ever before.

Today I went running even though I'm still on the dayquil. Man this is a long-running headcold for someone in my excellent shape. I thought I could fever it out of me. I definitely felt better for a couple hours. And now, another dose of dxm!

Sickness is all in your head! You can either chop it or put on mental resistance.

I hate being sick. Drink lots of tea with honey.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
