    loneliness is overwhelming!

    I'm tired of being alone..

Been alone most my life, with a touch of happiness, then it's taken away! Only to be dissapointed over and over again. Why?

    I'm a caring person.. just don't understand.

35yrs old, and wondering if I will ever find my soul mate?? who knows anymore. Maybe it doesn't even matter anymore.. maybe I'm just supposed to live alone.. I've given up on dating, I'm just tired of it all.

I give up on love.. it's not worth it anway..

    trulybesd, meet CAM.

Anyway, perhaps you should redefine what you are calling "soul mate". In my experience, people who use this expression tend to have very idealistic standards for men to live up to that are completely unrealistic.

Another thought: what do you mean when you say your happiness is "taken away"?

I don't thinking finding a soul mate is idealistic. If you can't find someone just right, then why bother? I value my independence more if there's no Ms Right. I believe in love. I'm only 20 but I've studied enough philosophy in college to value love.

There is a difference between finding value in love and seeking perfection, which doesn't exist.

I think with over six billion people on the planet, your chances are pretty good if you don't quit trying.

That said, have you thought about the fact that there might just be something to life besides romantic love? If you were passionately engaged in some interest, it would make you a hell of a lot more attractive than someone who is just sitting in the dark, waiting for True Love to come in and turn on the switch.

Well I do agree that at times it seems harder to find that right person for some people. And being as many of us have started to refuse the "Bar Scene search" which leaves running into new people a slight bit limited.

Are you black? What is with the "wif"? and for crying out loud spell the darn word "one". It is not that hard and doesn't take longer.

Having children around cannot prevent loneliness. One is lonely because they are urning for someone to be intimate with either emotionally or physically or just the communication between adults. Do expect them to just sit around singing Disney songs, watching cartoons, playing board games and listening to kids fight is satisfying as a urning adult?

No but I figured she would have her hands full to the point where she may not care. Having two kids is another wall in her way to find someone else.

Hopefully, most people don't pursue their romantic agendas with their kids.

Yeh happiness was stolen because it's not something you achieve for yourself, but something someone should give to you instead.

Yeh what's wrong with the world today? With people stealing other people's happiness and stuff? Copyright protect happiness as intellectual property so it doesn't get stolen! /Sarcasm
