Where's Grim Fandango on your lists? You people suck.

Whatever. The Atari was the first system I owned. It wasn't old school for me. It was just "school."

I've never played ANY of those games. I got a new Deluxe Edition Scrabble board for Hanukkah, though. I let my daughter play using a dictionary, and the little brat actually BEAT me using "xi" on a triple word score.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

    OH!

    I completely forgot that one!

I tried to get it to work on XP, even downloaded shit to try to get it to work, but it just wouldn't!

That was easily one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

My son is really into games (like his mom), so we've been teaching him. Poker is really good for learning probability. Bridge is good for memory, counting cards, etc. He already plays Hearts, so it seemed a natural next step.

We usually play Cranium w/friends every new years eve in partner/teams. With lots of booze. At the risk of sounding smug (ha), my team hasn't lost for the last 4 years. I even kick my hubby's ass (we usually play on different teams). The game is better than most b/c its a mix of charades, pictionary, trivial pursuit & a few other fun things. So its not boring for anyone who hates any particular one of those games. Pick one up this year, you'll like it.

I love Cranium. It's just a pain in the butt to get enough people together who are sober enough to play a full game.

I always find it gets more fun the less sober the players are. Especially the humdingers (singing a song only by humming) and the blind pictionary. Those get really interesting when you're half bagged.

Sometimes I really wish I drank. Then I could enjoy it when my family makes me play board games.
