how would you define "love"?
what is love to you?
how would you define "love"?
what is love to you?
to love is to discover what love is for yourself, and then share that with one other person.
Love is...
Drinking a double-shot of espresso on a hot, sunny summer morning while playing your favorite video game with your friends, and going to Buffalo in the afternoon to spend some time with family, maybe going to the range to pop some caps and meet up with the homies. Then enjoying the best pasta-cooked meal ever made and drinking a refreshing can of Coke, and concluding the meal with rum and a game of cards. And driving back before the sun sets (because it's summer)
Good memories !
Watching her walk away in the arms of another guy, and being glad that she's happy. But not before threatening said guy so he'll never hurt her.
I know I've said it before, but love is what is left over after infatuation wears off (if you are lucky).
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
Eh, she deserved better than me. It's not like I didn't try or anything. I just wasn't what she needed I guess. Nothing could be done. She was the only girl who ever treated me with any respect. Ironically, she was also the one who caused me the most pain. But that was a long time ago.
I tried to define it recently. If you care to read it, here you have the link: http://www.heptagrama.com/en/i_vos_per_0007.htm and if you have something to add. I'm all ears.
I actually meant that if you love somebody, part of loving him/her is giving him/her your time. As I see it, friendships has become way too virtual... online profiles, IM, blogs... where are hugs, kisses, pats on the back? see?
While I was working as a teacher, I leanrt a lot from small kids. They can really refresh your memory about what's really important in life.
I'm glad you liked it.
I was referring to this:
But yes, time is really all that you can ever give someone. You met after lunch and you went back home just before the sunset or when either of your parents called, but you never noticed how fast or slow time went by. It was the same the next time you met: You just kept on playing, forgetting the rest of the world again.
