What religion are you? If you're Catholic I can tell you that if you go beyond a chaste kiss or even so much as fantasize about something more than a kiss you're committing a sin.

Of course 99% of Catholics ignore that. They take what they want from religion and forget about the rest.

i love my religion to but i didn't know whether i loved my SO more. we made out and i felt nothing and then i cried because i went against everyhing i believd in. i talked to my so about it and we decided to refrain because if we do make out we'll only feel bad about it. so its a weight of my shoulders.

Since we are people, we all sin, some more than others. If you are Christian then you believe that Jesus died for your sins so that God can forgive them.

Don't forget that churches are run by people and they sin too, so something that is "against the religion" could mean anything. I'm Catholic, but I take the religion lightly. It was still Man who wrote that if you do not attend Sunday Mass, you will be sent to hell...unless you confess your sins.

But yeah, do what you feel is right. Don't forget that most Christian churches say abortion is wrong. What about rape victims who are pregnant?

All I'm pointing out is that do what you feel is right, and have self-control in either one. That way you're not too much one or the other. God is forgiving because people DO sin, it's the people who run churches that seem to want to make people feel bad for doing something that is "unholy". It's only natural.
