I used to think the name "Amy" was ugly, but ever since I heard all your stories I think the name is nice and associate positive things with it. I wanted you to know that.

It works in the reverse, as well. You probably knew an Amy at some earlier stage that tainted the name for you. "Daisy", "Melanie" and "Lara" are some of the girls names that immediately put me on the wrong foot.

I think putting it out in the open is nice, and I'd like to add that I've come to appreciate the name Josh even though it used to remind me of hippy kids with snotty noses and dirty hair.
