My son's school barely even teaches basic language structure (nouns, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions & the rules for them) and this REALLY bugs me.

I'm 38 and went to school in England . For some reason I was never taught basic language structure either . Perhaps it was some kind of 1980's teaching experiment . I found it made learning new languages difficult . How could I learn French verbs etc when I have no real understanding of what a verb is in English ?

I sometimes feel that when I'm writing , I'm playing a game without knowing the rules ( if that makes any sense !) .

I can't recall being taught it either. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what some of them are.

After anthropologist Susan McKinley came back home from an expedition in South America, she noticed a very strange rash on her left breast. Nobody knew what it was and she quickly dismissed it believing that the sores would leave in time. Upon her return she decided to see a doctor after she started developing intense pains. The doctor, not knowing the exact severity of the case, gave her antibiotics and special creams. As time elapsed the pain did not subside and her left breast became more inflamed and started to bleed. She decided to bandage her sores however as Susan’s pain grew more intense she decided to seek help from a more certified doctor.

Dr. Lynch could not diagnose the infection and told Susan to seek the aid of one of his colleagues who specialized in dermatology whom was sadly on vacation. She waited for two weeks and finally was able to reach the dermatologist. Sadly, a life changing event was about to unfold during her appointment. To Miss McKinley’s surprise, after she removed the bandages, they found larva growing and squirming within the pores and sores of her breast. Sometimes these wicked creatures would all together simultaneously move around into different crevices. What she didn't know was that the holes were in fact, deeper than she had originally thought for these larvae were feeding off the fat, tissue, and even milk canals of her bosom.

Which bit are you particularly offended by ? I think both pics are a bit gross but on a " wow that's gross " kind of way . Not an " I'm going to delete posts " kind of way .

I hate parasites.

I hate anything that crawls under the skin or sucks blood or whatever. Much worse by the idea of finding something like that in such a sensitive area??

Ever see those frogs whose offspring hatch in the pores of their backs? When they hatch they burst out their back. Gives me the creeps.

I'm like Frasbee... this stuff really creeps me out. I mean I can handle the goriest gore, but the idea of living things entering the body and doing that...
