    wow, i am really disappointed with all this. being the co-owner of a web designing business, i can tell you folks that customers make the business. listening to your customers complaints and foreseeing change in the business to give them less reasons to complain will only build your company into a bigger, better company. not only could they have awesome products, but kickass feedback and reviews to go with it. right now i do not see anywhere on the website "apple shipping is da bomb!" or anything like that. they need some of that too and the only way they will get it is by putting up with service reviews and listening to the customers.

    now i am sure they get their fair share of windows fanatics and überhaxorz who sit there and tell them that "ur stupid appelz sucks and u shud stop making" but they shouldn't completely remove their place of feedback.

    the fact that i bought it from apple, for school, with a school discount and all that, ordered two day shipping and still got ripped the **** off. that's disturbing.

    yeah, what sombra said. It's very hard for any big company to reply to all complaints and feedback. Which.. may be be why they have a forum on their site.

    Sure you can moan about it till your head falls off! But you're not giving them a chance to explain it or change it.
    And it's not like your complaint is a general "I hate you apple!", it's a specific, service related complaint that instead of bitching about you could try doing something about.. funnily enough, right below that on your site you talk of your work colleagues who bitch but then don't do anything about it themselves. Does this irony not strike you?

    Anyway, face it wing, you're just pissed that you had to get one for school. I mean, that does really suck. If I put myself in your shoes, and imagine that college was making me buy some horrible dell that I DID NOT want, and if dell then messed up any tiny detail of the order in addition to me already being pissed, I'd just be angry as hell.

    i am not just pissed that i had to buy an apple. i was thinking about getting one anyways. i was told it would ship in 2 days, but 16 days later, wondering where it was, got a notification by email that it will ship in 4 days. THAT'S why i am angry.

    ROFL think what you want, dolt. i feel that many people are experiencing the same problem, and that it could help the problem. i googled it and i found on other forums on the net other people complain about it too. same exact feelings. it's idiots like you who don't think or don't give a flying **** about the little things that make the world stop spinning.

    oh come on. *trillions* of complaints? this is bullshit. even if there were that large of a number of submitted complaints, with todays web technology you could develop a filter to categorize and select reviews for you.

    ofcourse you mean it 'would be' a big problem in the pile, but there is no place of feedback.

    how do you improve a product without customer feedback? you get a lot of useful criticism through customer feedback that people within the company do not provide.

    there was a 16 day packaging process which i find unacceptable.

    the actual shipping didn't occur in the garanteed span of 2 days, but rather 6.

    there is an invoice available on the net for my order, i printed it. no number. perhaps there is one on the actual package, but i will not recieve this until thursday.

    on another note, i wouldn't be surprised if the package was damaged, and if the laptop didn't even work. apple seems to not give a **** about customers.

    no, i have no knowledge of how i could communicate with apple. i spent 2 hours ont he website looking for a number, email address, livechat, anything. my last resort will be to actually snail mail a letter to them. muahahahaha, i have their address. they can't escape that one.

    apple's order confirmatino is an automated procedure.

    yea. i think they should have the customer service number right on the page of your orders, in noticeable format. it's not even on there. i've scanned the entire page inside and out. i also looked on other places throughout the website.. they give you numbers for help with products (like how to use a mac) but nothing about billing questions or anything.
