do women generally prefer men who wear boots (like work/combat boots) or casual shoes? I'm not talking muck lugs or nerdy hiking boots.

i've found that i like wearing boots over shoes. they're more comfy, and they look better on my feet (to myself) but i still wear my skating shoes every once and a while when i don't have time to tie the boots.

Wear your pants over your boots if you don't wanna intimidate prospective females. Or most people for that matter.

I used to blouse my pants, or roll 'em up, still do on occasion, but you're a lot more approachable when you don't look like you're gonna curb stomp somebody's face.

sometimes i roll up my pants but not in a public place. my combat boots are still intimidating even with pants covering them. the soles make them look scary.

I love the treads on these babies.

Only thing I don't like about them is the sole is a bit stiff because there's 3 layers to it. They're great for impact resistance, but man, after a day of wearin' 'em, it's good to be able to move my toes a bit. Slowly, they're beginning to break in.

On the other hand, I have a pair of boots that are as flexible as a pair of running shoes. Heaven those are to wear sometimes.

My advise is to wear what you think looks good on you. If it is combat boots then wear those.

what's that you say?.. you want me to come dominate you with my full shaft, 30 eyelet, steel toed undercover boots? Though those are probably the tamest full shaft boots in that style, as most of them have massive platforms, spikes, metal plates and tons of straps...
