one thing I learned is that sex is just another thing for us to share. I'd have said I knew that before. But now I really know it. And I am forever grateful to him for making this such a brilliant experience.

I had one LDR and it worked out for touching 8 months!

At times it was very hard. There would be days when you would like to come home and hop over to your girlfriend to talk, hug kiss etc.
The only thing that kept me sane really was the likes of MSN and ringing her.

Time always flew by when chatting to her.
When she would come to visit me and likewise when I would visit her (mostly weekends or public holidays), time would also go by very fast. It was those times I wish there was a 52 hour day.

Thinking back I was amazed it went as up to 8 months. In the end I couldn't stick it. We adored each other, but you had to work hard for it to completely work and it was affecting both our studies.

I do honestly think it would work if both parties put in effort etc and try by many means to keep in contact. At least the internet can help towards that too.

The way I see it, an LDR is supposed to be temporary, I really can't see things becoming seriousy until both parties are within an easy driving distance of eachother. I'm looking at possibly moving down South so long as things go okay with my situation.
