What I like most about women is that they are fundamentally innocent. This innocense gets corrupted (men happily lend a hand), but it's always still there, underneath it all. This quality is nourishing and yet completely mysterious, and thank God for that. The only women I can understand are men.

So Vash, it sounds to me that you're fully capable of being independent, but simply want the luxury of not having to be.
Anyway, I never really understood the power of a smile. Until one day, in NOLA, I was walkin' around the block waitin' for my pickup after Jazz Fest, and there was this pretty blonde walkin' past, I made eye contact, but then she just, smiled. And I was kinda taken back. She walked past and that was that. But, I dunno, if she had been smiling before I noticed her, I wouldn't have given it a second thought, but just seein' her smile at me like that, I just, I dunno, but it definitely made my day.
