    Self Confidence

Whos a strong believer in "If you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything"? Or are you one of those people who just get by.

EDIT: Crap thread, I know. I just wanted to de-virginize the new sub forum .

I believe it is good to have this attitude, even though it isn't true. In truth, all people are limited, but you achieve more with a positive attitude.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

It isn't a nice thought is it? The fact that you can only do so much. Thats why I push myself, go the extra mile to see where my limitations lie and try to expand on these boundaries. For example my exercise regime for an upcomming 26 mile marathon. Every week I islightly increase the amount of time I go running for. So every week I'm testing myself to see if I can go that extra 2 minutes and eventually I improve. Not only on a physical level but also on a mental level. Thats the key to success, personal growth.

I have a history of doing just enough to get by.

    In school at least.

Yup, the London marathon. I think it will be a good experience but also a good way to raise money for charity. Yeah, you don't need to say it. I'm kick-ass, I know, I know.
