Whoa whoa, back off the use of the word comrade.
I don't know if I like you yet.
If you come here regularly, have fairly intelligent posts, then maybe.
I can't gurantee anything relating to the intelligence behind my posts, but I can gurantee that they are sincere; I've been through a decent bit of crap in the name of so-called "love", and I will no doubt be a frequent visitor to this site.
Sometimes just seeing and knowing that other people are going through the same thing is comforting therapy.
Just keep in mind that I am not here especially to make friends; I'm here to try and find some answers that I'm not sure I can find anywhere but with the people who have experienced similar situations as I.
New friends, however, are not unwelcome. But I use the term "comrade" losely.

it's usually hard to judge someone whose new by their one line introduction..

He's got my vote. His vocabulary alone places him in the top 25% at least. Yes, you sometimes can judge someone by their first post.
I can't get attached, though. They come in here, make a good impression, post some good stuff and then...
gone.
I appreciate the vote of confidence, GB. And I do intent to stay here awhile; I've found it to be most helpful thus far, and I've only been signed up for a couple of days.

Are you "regulars" always this skeptical of new forum-members?
It may be called Loveforum.net, but I am not (pardon my simple English) "feeling the love".
I think I actually will be staying, seeing as though I've already learned a lot and have seen examples of people being helped a great deal by the members of this forum.
I'm getting the impression, however, that a large percentage of new members leave the forum shortly after joining. I honestly cannot imagine why.

Get out there wank and make yourself known!
Workin' on it.
And no, it was not sarcasm.

you want the honest truth?? most new members leave because they come on this site to talk about their problems and that's it. they want cheap advice and that's what we give them. when they are done, they throw us away like a used tissue that they had been wipping their nose with. when it comes time to cry again, and they have run out of fresh tissues, back they come with their same old problems... i have seen it too many times.
as in your case, come join the bashing party of new members. i get my kicks picking on the little people on this site and unfortunately that would include you!! muhahahaha... don't you feel the love now? i have included you into that special group.

Ignore the regulars. Their barks are worse than their bites (unless you are an absolute moron). Anyway, they are a bunch of smart-@sses, which I why I stay. They amuse me.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
You.. you censored a word that normally isn't even considered vulgar with an "@"Originally Posted by vashti

In any case, I like it here. It's theraputic. It's helpful. It's what I've been looking for for a long time now.
I think I'll stay. Thanks, reggies.
