Tie between "Mr. Holland's Opus" and "Patch Adams"

Fight Club. The most amazing piece of cinema ever. I've literally written multiple page essays on this film. The philosophy and ideas presented, while not all original, are so inspiring and at the same time horrifying that you can't help but be drawn back to it. Seriously, if you've never seen it, rent it now. Right behind Fight Club is Eternal Sunshine simply because this is the best movie I've ever seen on relationships. Period. It's also incredibly sad, but that doesn't keep it from finding its' way into my dvd player.

    Shawshank Redemption.
    Fight Club

I like thought provoking movies - brain ****s if you will. I can't stand horrors, or most modern movies - too much money is spent on special effects, rather than plot.
