GF refuses to kiss me now I have braces.

Guys, I have a dilemma. Until I had braces, I used to receive very sensual tongue action from my GF. They were simply heavenly and I truly miss them.

Ever since I got braces, my GF doesnt French me anymore. She's scared I'd bite her or she'll cut herself from the metal brackets. What am I to do to convince her otherwise?

Any special techniques to kissing with braces(one partner with braces, another with none)?

    Please please help. Thanks guys.,

I have had braces, and kissed girls with them (when I had them and when I didn't).

    THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS!!

Get her to try it and prove to her there is not a problem. I see this as a very immature thing for her to do, are you sure there isnt something else going on?

There are not many things I fear in life, but disappointing you is my greatest.

I love you even with your flaws... I love you because of your flaws.

I made out with my bf with braces. I was worried about it but it wasn't a problem at all. Unless her 'tongue action' is along the front of your teeth, there shouldn't be a problem.

I remember when you first get braces they're really painful for a while, so I hope you're not in too much discomfort, Quentin.

    EDIT:
in case that wasn't clear, I was wearing the braces not him.

I wouldn't have thought it was a problem. I know you may realise that but it would be much harder to convice your girlfriend aswell.
Has she actually said this is the reason she won't kiss you like that anymore?

Find another girl to kiss instead. That will make your g/f jealous and soon she'll be kissing you again...... or hitting you.... one of them anyway.

Show her that the additional metal in your mouth improves the enjoyability of the kissing experience

Aww.. that's bad. For how long are you going to have to cope up with the braces?

I had mine for.. what.. 6 years? and I was told it would be much less. so it's probably hard to tell.

god I hate braces. hate hate hate. and the little elastic bands and springs and wires that stick out the back and all. utter hate. oh, btw; please brush your teeth, and don't chew gum or eat sweets. And if there's a wire sticking out or some uncomfortable spot that's making the flesh raw, ask your orthodontist for some wax to cover it up - makes it all smooth and non-hurtey.

and wear your headgear if you have it I was supposed to have braces for 2 years, and diligent little metal-mouth that I was, got them off 7 months early for good behavior

yeah - no fun - but my teeth were AWFUL - I'm glad I had headgear instead of having to go around being called "buck teeth" for the rest of my life.

oh definitely, braces are the preferred choice.. I still have a bit of an overbite though.. oo well

at any rate, they don't get in the way of kissing/making out at all. maybe if both people are wearing braces it'd be a problem?

I say ask her to give it a try, chances are she wont notice them after a while. Or if they do somehow hurt her during some fancy french kissing move, put wax on the brackets before making out.
